Even more, we found the room had everything we need, and the walk to town was actually enjoyable, even on the snow-stormy February nights. The staff was absolutely amazing (shoutout to the guy from the dinner shifts), they were helpful and accommodating, gave us a room upgrade and we ended up staying two more nights. Breakfast was quite simple and with limited options, but we found something to eat every day and the restaurant food was delicious. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and we enjoyed spending our evenings in the super cosy main room. Definitely great value for money (keep in mind how expensive everything is in Longyearbyen). Given all the above, we already decided that when we'll come back (because we will :) ), we will choose Coal Miners' again.
