We loved everything about the property. The location, the room , the breakfast …. And especially our hosts. They went well above and beyond our expectations. We arrived well after midnight and they were both there to greet us. They helped us with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed as they knew we were tired. I would recommend to anyone to stay here. It was first class and top of our B & B stays. When we come back again we will definitely stay here and for longer. The location is fantastic with magnificent views over the rolling green landscape. This is a small castle. It’s charming and stunning at the same time. Loved the morning walk in the pristine surroundings. Old trees, rhododendrons, fields with grazing thoroughbreds. Very homeish feeling. Spacious rooms and real Irish breakfast (perfect fuel for the day’s hike). Wonderful staff, when you need something, otherwise we actually had the place for ourselves which was great. We bought our own drinks and food and could use the facilities in the kitchen and dining room. Don’t miss this gem❣️

Stone Barn er nýuppgert gistihús í Skibbereen, í sögulegri byggingu, 8,4 km frá St Patrick's-dómkirkjunni, Skibbereen. Það er með garð og verönd. The breakfast was an expertly prepared full Irish Breakfast with several choices available. The eggs, laid by the cottage's chickens and sauteed to perfection by the chef/owner were the best we had throughout our trip to Ireland.
