My husband and I had the most amazing stay at the Grand in Birmingham. The hotel is fantastic and has been renovated beautifully. All the staff were good but we need to make a special mention to Isatou kassama; who was the lovely, smiley and super professional every time we spend some time in the Madeleine bar. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. The lounge area is an absolute delight. We made good of the gym and running track. Next time we’ll visit the cinema room and possibly use the BBQ facilities. Contrary to what previous guests mentioned in their reviews, I had no difficulty finding the car park, I was able to register my rental car for parking on the same day and i had no issues with check-in and check-out times. It is worth-noting that I called them about a day or two in advance to discuss these. I strongly recommend that.
