The views were gorgeous (very easy when staying in Lauterbrunnen but still). The location was extremely convenient as it was really close to the train station and the Coop grocery store. The staff was super friendly and lovely and always helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable, I was barely in there during the day anyway but still, I loved that there were multiple plug and usb outlets next to the bed so I could charge all my stuff at the same time. There was a laundry room were I could hand wash some of my clothes and let them dry too which came in very useful. I didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed alright, maybe a bit dirty by the end of the day but it's expectable and no big deal. Wifi worked well too. There's luggage storage free of charge which was great. Showers were nice and big and I liked that there was a small space with a bench before the shower so I could leave my stuff there and get dressed comfortably. Honestly everything was perfect and would come back a 100%!!

The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Everything - clean, close to both stations and the main sights, staff was friendly, facilities were clean, it was not too noisy at night. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at.

Hotel Brienzersee se nachází přímo nad jezerem Brienzersee, pouhých 5 minut jízdy od centra Interlakenu. Nabízí pokoje s nádherným výhledem a terasu u jezera. The location was excellent! Just minutes away from the train station and it offered a really great escape for us. We loved everything about the property, most especially the peacefulness of the lake view, the delicious breakfast, the hotel room and the warm welcome from the people running the hotel.
