The architecture attracted me to make the reservation and it lived up to expectations. FYI, i dont know Basel very well and have not stayed overnight before. It is a good location and easy to get to the concert hall etc. The courtyard is extra special and will be a key reason to return if/when th opportunity arises in the future.

The breakfast was wonderful. Location was unexpectedly beautiful, with nature walks in both directions along the Rhine River. Our room was lovely, and all staff were very kind and attentive. The outdoor part of the restaurant had great views all around. We wished we could have stayed longer.

That was really amazing stay in a truly magnicient, exceptional hotel. This is definitely in my TOP 5 list of 5 star hotels and I wish to be back as soon as possible. From the first minute there I felt welcome. At the breakfast you get the Micheline-type attention and service.

I stayed a one bedroom apartment for four days to attend a confrence at the messe congress. The apartment is recently renovated and spoltless clean. I loved home design and interior of the rooms. You can reach to both Basel SBB HB and the messe with tram line 2. There are a supermaket and a tram stop within approx. 100 meters in front of the apartment.
