The hotel is very pretty, cozy and what we enjoyed most: close to the beach. It's a 10-15 minute stroll to the bakery (if you don't want their offered breakfast) and the restaurant food is AMAZING! We even got a welcome drink because we were staying at the hotel, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is tastefully decorated and has a nice ambiance, with jazz music playing throughout the ground floor. The staff are friendly and helpful. When checking in they insisted on taking all of our bags to the room. They have an excellent restaurant so food is amazing. If you stay at the hotel you can have breakfast and the general public can have lunch and dinner there. Dining outside in their garden is very beautiful and pleasant. Breakfast is really special as they give you a wide variety of things to eat - breads, croissant, meat, cheese, jam and also yogurt in a special parfait glass, as well as eggs cooked to order if you wish; we had both of these extras and they were delicious. We really enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, the staff were very accommodating and don't chase you out at 10 on the dot, they let us take our time there in the garden and have an extra cappuccino / coffee until around 10:30 which we appreciated. We also had dinner one evening in the garden which was lovely - delicious, great service and atmosphere. Room was very spacious and bed comfortable. We had a big suite and the sitting area was also nicely laid out. There was a table in the room and is also a large patio at the back side of the room which overlooks the hotel garden. Large bathroom area, well laid out with counter space and drawer space, fluffy towels. Quiet street. We will visit again.

The accommodation was ideal for meeting our son and family and we had a lovely time at the Bruges Christmas Market which was a 20 minute drive. The town of Blankenberge was nice and everything was very handy.

Here you just feel very comfortable. The interior is very tasteful and bright. In addition, it's very clean. You can use free bicycles. The rooms are equipped with any plates, cutlery, etc.. We also liked very much that free parking is available. Michael is a kind-hearted person who wants to make your stay as nice as possible. He has many good tips and overviews that are very helpful to explore Oostende. A big surprise was the very successful varied and balanced breakfast. You can't have a better breakfast anywhere in Ostend! We were very happy here (price-performance fits super!) and can recommend the accommodation without hesitation and would come back any time. This house is modern, spacious, well equipped, very clean and the owners are especially welcoming. It is ideally situated in the local area for trips to the coast, Plopsaland, local supermarket and tram services links along the lovely Belgium coast.
