We have stayed at much cheaper and better hotels in the UK and Bucharest. The DoubleTree by Hilton room was very much like a room at a Premier Inn (UK budget hotel chain). I chose the hotel for the indoor pool which was very nice but was quite an expensive extra (about £11 each per dip) as was the daily parking charge (£7 per day), both normally free for residents at other hotels. I cannot comment on the food available as we did not eat there.

The location is ideal, in the city center, but also on a quiet street. We were able to walk around the city, without the need to use the car or the public transport. Initially, we were a little bit concerned about the parking, but there are parking spots in front of the building.
