This is a great Guesthouse! Not only are the rooms clean and spacious but the family who runs it are amazing. We were welcomed by the whole family with 2 glasses of horinca! Our room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom is also clean with hot water. We had dinner and breakfast at the Guesthouse and are so glad we did. The food was delicious and plentiful and we had a lot of fun learning about Romania. There is parking in the yard and it's easy to access. The village of Breb is very cute and a definite must if you travel to Marmures.

The absolute best thing about this place is the wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and we loved talking with them over meals. The hosts were warm and friendly and managed to overcome our language barrier with grace and good humour. They offered coffee when we arrived and home made Horica as soon as we sat down. The room was spacious, clean and so comfortable - the best bed in over a month of different hotels/pensiones! The ensuite bathroom was spotless. And the handmade embroidered wall hangings were simply beautiful. We were offered dinner for 50RON pp and it was a delicious 3 course traditional meal. This pensione is located in the traditional Romanian village of Breb in the mountains of Maramures. There is only a very weak internet signal but you will not miss it. A wander around the village and you will be so glad you switched off.
