This was the second time we stayed here. The staff is the best and that's why we came back. We love walking through the vineyard and looking at all the vegetables and fruits they are growing. We ate here both nights and we like the home cooking and the wine from the vineyard. You need to order supper before you check in because they need a day to shop for groceries. They try to meet your special requests.

We where surprise about the importance the Vidago Palace spend to the plants, the "little" forest and the remaining of nature there, the lake ( with the ducks, the quantity of birds and so on, it is amazing. The staff is very compedtent and , of coujrse, very sweet...The staff at "pequeno almoço" so careful, Mrs.Conceição at the water-fountain and everybody at the Terms, Hydromassage, Vichy, Reception, Angela, Susana,Claudia , (as nobody is perfect ...)summing up everybody well prepared and nearly perfect. WE"LL CERTAINLY COME BACK NEXT YEAR

ALL the staff special mention to Arminda and Sandra were helpful and pleasant Hotel was located in quiet setting and pool pristine Breakfast included in reasonable tariff and we dined in for an evening meal Fish and Meat dish order came presented well and large servings soup was offered prior small carafe of vino tinto shared desert and two coffees for 44E with great service Bed large and comfortable quiet room 211

they really went out of their way to make me welcome. They even made me a soup with bread and fruit for only 10 euro so that instead of driving back into the main town I could rather enjoy a walk in the mountain. it is beautiful and DEFINATELY worth a visit for any traveller along that route.
