The hosts were possibly the most naturally-hospitable people we’ve ever encountered via booking.com. They went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and enjoyed a unique and special experience in a beautiful part of the world. We feel lucky we chose this place to holiday. They made it into an experience we will never forget.

We loved staying at Casa Sofia (Sofia House). The house is modern, functional and comfortable. There is plenty of space around the house, which is ideal for those with children (which was our case). The house is located in a quiet area and the centre of Vila do Carvalhal is a 5-minute walk away. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the beach, but if you decide to walk, it will take a little longer. We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were always available and quick to respond to our needs. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything Ana and Carlos.
