Fantastic place and house !!! Extremely clean and very well equipped, even a nespresso machine with capsules ;-)). Beautiful area to swim and do snorkeling, literally down the terrace from where you get a magnificent view ! Quick climb to visit Manolas the village on top and the island ! Awesome experience ! One thing to keep in mind is the logistics to leave (first boat to leave is at 12:15 and you need to book a taxi to transfer from Ammoudi to airport / port, so enough time should be planned for transfer). To get in is easy as boat leaves Ammoudi at 8:00, 12:35, 17:30 and even around 20:00 during summer.

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at this property. The host was incredibly friendly, generous, and always available to assist us. The house is wonderfully secluded, ensuring a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The sunset view at night was simply breathtaking! Inside, the house exceeded our expectations in terms of size; we were pleasantly surprised. It's fully equipped, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

This is an amazing back to the 80s vibe place. A tricky to get to but oh so worth it laid back place on the edge of a village with 3:tavernas and a couple of bars/cafes. And run by the legend Jimmy who, let's say, is not 40 any longer but exudes warmth and genuine Greek kindness. Book a room for a week or a month, take a dozen books and marvel at the views and sunsets...and allow yourself a smile at the poor souls crammed in Oia and paying hundreds a night. Some helpful (I hope) advice for the independent traveller. Car ferry from Santorini Athinios port. Small foot passenger ferry from Oia Amoudi port 3 times a day 8ish 1230 and 17hrs approx. Stops at Riva (45mins to an hour walk to Jimmy's by tarmac road, taxi normally meeting ferry) and then Korfos (30mins up path walk to Jimmy's, no donkeys and no motors). Thirassia is cheaper than Santorini. Don't bring stuff. Buy on Thirassia. Souvlaki pitta 5euros, frappe 2.5, in Korfos. I'm boring myself now... Have fun. Oh we loved Different Restaurant in Manolos....

We had such an amazing stay at Thirassia Paradise Suite! Being located on the beach the location offers a bit more privacy and relaxation while being just a short walk to the restaurants and taverns around. George is one of the best hosts I've experienced and his guidance and recommendations were so helpful. We enjoyed our time at Thirassia Paradise Suites and hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anelia House in Ammoudi Bay. It’s such a unique experience from staying up in Oia and we loved waking up every day to the boats rocking on the water. Around the corner from the bay is a beach walking distance and underneath the apartment is the famous Sunset restaurant. We never had any issues with noise and the apartment has amazing air conditioning. To get to Oia you do have to take the stairs, so I wouldn’t recommend this property if you have mobility issues. We, however, enjoyed the workout and adventure.

La casetta è molto bella, la tipica casa bianca di Oia scavata nella roccia, con una fantastica vista sulla caldera e sul mare interno di Santorini, proprio di fianco ad una chiesetta con tetto blu. L'idromassaggio è molto carino, piccolo ma ci si sta in 3 comodamente, 4 un po' stretti, con ottima vista sul mare mentre vi rilassate; dà sulla scalinata quindi non c'è molta privacy, ma passa poca gente ed è lo stesso per la maggior parte delle casette di Oia. L'interno è caratteristico e molto bello, soggiorno con angolo cucina, una camera con bagno, un'altra camera con bagno al piano superiore con terrazza con vista mare. Tutto pulito e in ordine. La mattina consegnano direttamente in casa una colazione ottima e abbondante. La posizione è veramente bella e panoramica, nel centro di Oia, in pochi passi (e scalini) siete nel corso pedonale principale con tutte le cose da visitare a portata di mano. All'arrivo e partenza dovrete fare qualche minuto a piedi con le valigie perchè il centro di Oia non ha strade, ma c'è un addetto che vi aiuta con i bagagli. La host Mary è stata gentile e disponibile, anche con Whatsapp, e ci ha supportato anche per prenotare una escursione in catamarano.

The Host!! Nikoletta is an absolutely amazing host who took time to greet us upon arrival and even drive us to the restaurant in Oia that we booked for dinner. She maintains her beautiful traditional Santorini home in a pristine state and also offers welcoming conveniences such as espresso coffee, snacks and water. The house's location above the Sunset Restaurant with a clear view from the property's well-sized balcony of beautiful Ammoudi Bay is also a unique advantage of this lovely property. We were sad to have to leave after our one night stay.

The view from the room is superb. The sunset view itself is worth every cent paid. All staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about questions asked regarding where to go for food and places to visit.
