beautiful property. great food in the buffet, nice cocktails, wonderful staff, amazing kids club. kids loved the entertainment which was of high quality and varied and our kids don’t normally like kids clubs. The kids club catered to all our children from 4 to 12. the sports facilities were great, the daily football matches, table tennis tournaments and water park & playgrounds!

Beautiful small very clean renovated Boutique hotel close to everything. I spend 3 nights there and room was big 26m2 with huge balcony and another smaller one. Comfortable bed , big bathroom and smart tv with netflix and fridge. Lovely staff. Breakfast was great too. Short walk to everywhere. Doorcode was working well at nighttime coz reception closed at 17 pm. Hotel had lift also.

The room is actually bigger than we thought or imagined based on the pictures. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they are always there in case of need, however they managed to find the good balance between being visible and letting you chill. The breakfast is always fresh, great variety of food. The cleanliness of the whole property was well above my expectations. We liked that it has only 12 (maybe?) rooms, so the whole atmosphere is nothing like a big resort with full of people. Only for adults is a big-big plus for us.

This perfect little gem of a boutique hotel was the best! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, including jumping through hoops to help us find our lost luggage. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

For us it was close to the tennis courts for the tournaments my daughter was playing, it was great to be able to cook our own meals and there is a supermarket across the road. It was good value for what we needed it for and very convenient. You can see the ocean from the balcony and the pool is nice. The cleaner comes in most days and will give you clean towels every second day and change the sheets. You will need your own soap and shampoo, although there is some for the first day. Andreas is very helpful and always around if you need anything. The bus stop is near and it is very cheap to get on a bus, €3.10 to go to the main city (Heraklion) and the airport it takes about 40 min to 1hr. Don’t use the taxi’s the are very expensive and they only take cash there are no meters and they tell you a price. It’s €45 for on the airport to the apartment. There are plenty of ATM’s around. You can walk 10 minutes to a beach with sand to the right and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach across the road isn’t great and no sand. When you fly in get the bus to Nana beach, cross the road and walk to the right and it’s just up past the supermarket,with the buses you put alll your luggage underneath the bus.

The location is amazing, with its beautiful mountains and sea view. Sitting by the pool or at the outdoors dining area, surrounded by that scenery, was for me the definition of a relaxing vacation. As for the rooms, they were very spacious with big bathrooms that felt very luxurious. But above all else, what I liked most about this hotel was the staff. My fiancée and I had a problem with the car and the rental company during our stay, which would’ve definitely ruined our trip had we stayed somewhere else. But the staff was very kind and helpful, especially Anna, Maria and Veronica. They were empathetic and very kind, and helped sort things out with the rental company, while reassuring us that everything will be all right. They put us at ease when we needed it most, and after it all got sorted out, they gave us some great information on some scenic road trips and beautiful beaches that really made this a perfect and memorable vacation.

The apartment located on the side street but very close to the “rush street” with many restaurants and stores. Well equipped kitchen. The apartment new and very clean. Top rating!!!! And highly recommend to all travelers.

The pool area was fantastic and all of the staff, with the exception of one person on the reception desk, were lovely. Our overall stay was good but was spoiled somewhat by the quality of guests brought in by budget holiday companies and my daughters last night was completely ruined by the party in the next room which the very rude person on reception refused to get involved with several times, even after 1.00 AM

Honestly it was so cheap with booking.com. genius. There is something that makes this hotel very special. It is a beautiful lady in white in a breakfast room. Maybe she is a owner of the hotel (not sure). She serves every guest by herself in the morning with smile and kindness. Every staff is absolutely kind and nice. If I come to Creta again, I will definitely here.. Thanks for the team of Thalia deco hotel!

Full sun on the balcony in the afternoon. Air conditioning/heating is included. Very pleasant host to deal with. I thought good value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Last but not least I have to mention the food at the buffet which was really tasty . I highly recommend Mari Kristin beach hotel as an ideal place for holidays and relaxations .
