Caldera view from the room is exceptional. Breakfast was great, amazing eggs and french toast. The staff is welcoming and always makes you smile and have a pleasant stay. The staff were unbelievably accommodating. We were caught off-guard in the middle of our stay with the terror attacks back home in Israel. From the moment we made our situation known and explained that we needed to get back home, Vasili and Marta (hope I’m spelling those names correctly) helped us in every way possible. They let us use the office phone to reach out to airlines. They helped us search for every solution possible to help us reach our destination. Vasili contacted our car rental company and requested that we be able to drop off the car at the port, instead of at the airport. He sat with us for hours, doing everything he could to make our process of return as smooth as possible. The manager of the hotel came to us and said—should we need to stay in Santorini any longer—that we wouldn’t have to worry about accommodation for as long as we needed. They even prepared a breakfast-to-go bag for us the night before we decided to leave. They put their hearts into their work and truly help in every way they can.

What can is say.. they upgraded our suite (which already looked amazing) upon arrival to a villa which was one of the biggest and nicest accommodations we had the pleasure of staying at during our visit to Santorini!! the breakfast was on point!! the views were stunning!! we never stayed on this part of the island before and after our experience at Melidonia we will definitely put it at the top of our list next time we visit the island!! the best thing about the property were the staff!! really made you feel welcome and took special care of all our needs!
