My husband, my elderly mother and I had a fantastic week at Ilex Lodge. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, and everything we needed was there for us. There were even lovely touches such as a loaf of local raisin bread and a bunch of fresh local flowers that made me smile. The lodge is in lovely gardens and I really appreciated the trees, birdsong and flowers just outside the windows. It is an easy, pleasant walk into the heart of St Peter Port and the harbour, so Ilex Lodge is in a fantastic location, close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The three of us arrived exhausted and desperately in need of a holiday, and left rejuvenated and recovered. It was exactly the holiday we needed. Thank you so much.

Fabulous 👌 staff. Rooms very well appointed. Beds like sleeping on a cloud. Easy walking to town. Food at Pickled 🐖 Pig Restaurant and breakfast in the morning (extra if you book room rate only) but worth it. I've stayed at La Fregate a number of years ago and it only gets better. Excellent location and beautiful views over St Peter Port harbour. Comfortable rooms and excellent beds. The chef is outstanding and I enjoyed the best hot breakfast I recall having in a hotel. The restaurant for dinner is superb with a great seasonal menu.
