Location was ideal- 20 mins from station, 8 mins from the centre of the town. You can hear the river outside with a good view if it! Exceptionally friendly and warm service from the guesthouse owner. The room had everything I needed. Very warm and comfortable.

We liked the location, the comfortable quiet accomodations. The breakfast was exceptional. The hosts Wendy and Richard were friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. we had some really nice walks thanks to them. Kendal is a lovely little town with an ancient history. The little windy streets and buildings were charming. It was so easy, as well, to get deeper into the lake district. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was clean and spacious and in a beautiful location, perfect for walks with the dogs and to travel around the lake district. The living area was a great size for 6 people and we felt completely at home for the weekend we were there. The house had everything that we needed for our stay.

The property is newly renovated and is very fresh, quiet, bright and clean. Literal steps to anything in Kendal town centre - the location is ideal for exploring the town. Note that the flat is in the middle of a pedestrian-only precinct, so there is no adjacent parking. We had small issues with taxi pick-ups as there is no direct car access to the flat. On the whole, we felt this was an advantage, as it made for a very quiet, peaceful environment. Absolutely loved the flat entrance with the “shambles-esque” alleyway. Could not be more central, we walked everywhere in town in under 10 minutes. Bedrooms and common area were comfortable and bright.
