The apartment is situated in the heart of the old city but still very peaceful. When we were visiting local rugby team has won European championship so there were a lot of parties in the city but there was barely any noise coming to the apartment. The apartment is decorated eclectic but very chic, so one can see that Virginie has an amazing taste! The bed was very comfortable with quality bedsheets, so even if I was 7,5 months pregnant when visiting, I had a most comfortable sleep.

L'Art Studio is fitted to the highest standard. Our room was a generous size with en suite bathroom. I came with a kitchen with kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, fridge. We had a welcome bottle of fizz, and provisions for breakfast on our first morning. It is on a quiet street, yet only 10-15 minutes walk to the waterfront, where there are many bars and cafes. We arrived by car and after unloading were directed to free parking close by. All in all, an excellent base to visit La Rochelle.

The apartment was located at the top of a lovely old house , in a perfect location, very close to all the bars and restaurants and the beautiful harbour of La Rochelle. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Our host, Colette was super helpful. We would recommend this host and apartment..super location.Also the family own a restuarant named Le Bonne Pate, run by Colette's husband and son,excellent food and very reasonably priced,
