The location is excellent in a rural area within the "Parque Natural de Oyambre". It's a perfect location for exploring Cantabria. We visited Picos de Europa, Comillas, Santillana del Mar, Acantilados de San Vicente, etc. Martin is a great host. He welcomed us and gave us all the information about the apartment and recommended interesting tours and the best restaurants we had during our trip.

This may be the best place we’ve ever stayed!! While not fancy according to some standards such as if you want a pool/hot tub, fancy restaurant/bar on site, or a day spa etc there was nothing we didn’t like about this stay. Very close to great restaurants and sights, hiking, beach, etc and the space was incredibly clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked, TV in sitting area and bedroom so easy for 2 people to relax and have their own space. The rural location and fantastic views of the beach and Picos were wonderful. There was an outdoor table and chairs with umbrella for our own use with our room also. Conchita was so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We would rate this a 20/10!!

The breakfast was good value and served in a bright and inviting room with wicker furniture and a lovely view of the countryside.

An asset to the hotel is Diego (Viego?) on the reception desk. He was an outstanding member of hotel staff during a tour consisting of 11 hotels. He was exceptional for his warm welcome, his helpful and friendly manner and general demeanour. The management of this hotel should make sure he is commended. He is a definite asset. Paid extra for a superior room, well worth it in terms of comfort and size.
