This is a 5 star hotel in every aspect. They deserve a long and excellent review so here goes..... They arranged, at our cost, a comfortable car for transport from TFS so the 45 minutes or so to the hotel flew by. Then they upgraded us on arrival to a penthouse room which had a deck and overlooked the pool. Absolutely lovely. They smartly include three sizes of bed pillow for each guest and made the twin beds into one king size one for my husband and myself. Our floor maid team headed by Jennifer was excellent every single day - you can put a card if you want to keep the sheets you have for water saving. There are 5 floors to the hotel and the restaurants and amenities (including a billiard table and a pool table and fabulous library of lending books of all languages on the 3rd floor) ping pong in the garden, and three different pools which I loved for different times - smallish spa pool quite warm, outside spa pool very pleasant w not shivers on getting in and then the main pool which is beside the outside dining for lunch which is beautiful but much cooler and was mainly unused by people sunning in very comfortable loungers. I have never in all my travels had such comfortable leather pads on both the pool loungers and the ones on our deck room. Tatjana for massage! The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and very courteous about making omelets and peoples perfectly times morning eggs. I am particular about my coffee so requested americano vs the carafe of less strong coffee they automatically offer. I never had anyone get peaked about that request. Really, top to bottom the employees were always courteous, patient and quick with filling requests. Rahul is the manager at our favorite restaurant La Parrilla which is the best of the three restaurants on site in my view. He will also make plain grilled fish and steamed vegetables on request which is nice to have on a long stay, has an excellent cheese board for desert and is also a sommelier.

The apartment location was excellent and it was spotless. The apartment had everything required for our stay down to the finest detail and had even put some provisions in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even a blender to make some smoothies :) It was nice to find salt, pepper, tea and coffee in the kitchen. The room was very clean. The location is great: there are some good restaurants and grocery stores very near and the beach is about 300 metres from the apartment (downhill). I definitely recommed this apartment! :)

Room is small but very cleverly planned, a lot of space for storage. Bed was very comforting, it is wider than it seems on the picture. Ocean view and sound is amazing. Location is good to hike the volcano.

To park your car is possible and cheap but very uncomfortable. The breakfast is excellent, it couldn't be better. Everything is very clean, the bathroom very well equipped.
