Friendly owner who prepared a delicious breakfast and helped with everything. She wrote a daily note for breakfast and translated it into English for us. Every detail of the house was made with care. The view is amazing from the room (balcony). Nice surroundings. Next to the house there is a nice public playground and private parking. The shops, bakery, bus stop, restaurants are located within one km or less. There are a lot of things to do if you love nature. We only stayed 3 nights which was short.

Got us the transport card as well. The room was very well equipped, clean, and even has games for liesure. Great location, just a few steps from the bus stop. Very scenic property.

My recent stay here was absolutely fantastic, starting with a little adventure. I got a bit lost after getting off at the wrong bus stop, leading to an unexpectedly long walk while carrying my luggage. However, this turned out to be a wonderful experience thanks to the beautiful scenery I encountered along the way. When I finally arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly kind and helpful. I also got to briefly meet their adorable cat. (It's a shame I was so busy during my stay and didn't get to see him/her again!) The room where I stayed was very clean and had everything I needed, adding to the comfort of my visit. It was well-equipped and maintained, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. It was simply superb, served in a cozy room that showcased the hosts' care and attention to detail. It felt like a warm, inviting space that made the start of each day extra special. Getting around using public transportation was a bit of a learning curve, as the bus schedules are a bit limited. Thankfully, the hosts were fantastic in helping me plan and optimize my travels, making it much easier to navigate the area. My only regret is that my stay was too short. I’d absolutely love to come back and stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The combination of wonderful hosts and the charming setting made this a memorable and highly recommended place to stay!

Compared to other hotels and airbnbs, this one is quite cheap.In general the area is expensive though. In the house, there are several guests staying, even families. But I did not see or hear a lot from them, people were very quiet and we still felt like we had privacy. You also have the option to use a fridge there, which was really nice. Even though I'm allergic to dogs, I did not have any problems with allergies there.

It was a part of the Bavarian fairytale. I also liked the location, close to Berchtesgaden and beautiful hiking trails. I hope next time I go to the Bavarian Alps Mariengrund will be available. Well positioned for other attractions. Wonderful Host. Apartment was very clean and well planned with a great deal of thought. Tourist card given for free Train and Bus rides in local area. Salzburg in 30 Mins on free bus.

Speaks English really well. Very clean room and bathroom. Good location, beautiful mountains everywhere around the valley. We received a guestcard on arrival, we could have used the buses for free, received some discount on parking etc.. Nice heating, we could adjust it to our needs. Warm water without any problems.
