The apartment had everything we need and was very clean. It is the perfect place to start your hikings and explore the Aletschgletscher. We didn't need the car, you walk to the train, cablecar or start hiking from the apartment. We bought a 2-day ticket so that you can use the train and cablecars in this area. For us it was worth the price while we had a halbtax card. And last but not least, the host is great, she keeps in contact with you by mail and asks many times if everything is ok. Many thanks! Next time we come, we book this again.

Exceptional check in experience. Fully cared for including useful information and maps of area. Mountain views. Immaculately clean apartment with everything needed for self catering. Ideal for families. Location was five minutes from local shop and many restaurants. Station and cable cars within ten minute walk. I highly recommend a stay here .

Everything about the apartment was great It was very clean and the facilities were all very good. There was room for two cars to park and the view out over the valley was glorious. Would definitely stay here again. The walk to the main ski lift is about 10 minutes via a footpath by the railway and easy to follow.

Switzerland
Conveniently located very close to the train station and to the gondola lift to the Aletsch Arena, we had a warm welcome. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant offers an excellent dinner, with many home made dishes and special touches which are very enjoyable. On top of the usual menu, seasonal options were on offer. We tried the homemade "foie gras" and the marinated salmon. Delicious with excellent service, definitely worth going. The same applies to the breakfast, which included the homemade "Dreikönigskuchen" on top of the regular options (ham, cheese, cereals, yogurt, fruits, brioche, bread - including gluten free...) Excellent stay overall.

The bed, pillows, comforter, bedsheets etc. are very comfortable. Not many people stays overnight in Fiescheralp and not much facility available at night. We took the opportunity to rest and relax. Outside is cold in early October but the room itself is warm.

As a budget hotel in Switzerland it is quite normal to share a bathroom (this is also clearly stated in the booking, so i dont understand the reviews which complain about this). The room is tidy and has everything one needs, even a balcony! And breakfast is generous.
