The owner is absolutely lovely, the breakfast he made was outstanding & we even had a chance to bond with the hound of the house. Mansarde was nicely located in the city center of Diest and easy to find. We were welcomed friendly and the host even offered to put as many of our bidons in the refrigerator as possible (as we were on a kickbike 🛴 from the Netherlands to Paris we carried five each). The room was very clean and comfortable. It felt a little as a sleepover at your grandma's house, this is was both a big plus as well as slightly awkward at times. We could park our kickbikes safely in the host's garage. Breakfast was nice and varied.

I felt right at home at the Monroe Suite. The hosts were very kind and the location is abolutely stunning. After a beautiful walk to the Averbode Abbey I enjoyed a glass of rosé, home made tapas and ended the evening relaxing in the jacuzzi. Definitely to be repeated!

The location was perfect for a stay of a small family (2 parents + 1 kid). There was an adjacent room for the kid, and an adjacent bathroom. Breakfast was very good. They served the perfect egg. And there was a lot of choice concerning bread, home made jams, and charcuterie. You also feel very welcome, because a welcome drink (for instance a local beer) is comprehended in the price. Price is good value for money.
