Thank you Nam Ham Luong for accommodating us while we stay in Ben Tre. We were located far away from the city to get away from the hustle and bustle of HCMC. This homestay provides all the basic amenities, TV, hot heater, air conditioning, spacious room and breakfasts! They even have their own in house restaurant which serves variety of local dishes and drinks. You can rent scooters for 200k per day and use their bicycles for free when you want to venture around the village. Totally recommend to do this if you're staying here. You can buy snacks and drinks outside at mini shops and also eat/drink at local cafes around the area. It's way cheaper here at the countryside. You can also book tours with them and their agent is Bao Duyen, they have 3 different tours, Mekong Riverside Adventure, Discover Ben Tre villages and their own sunset boat tour (2pm daily). We communicate mostly using Google translate and they speak a little bit of English. But all is good. Thank you again for the hospitality. You'll get coconuts as welcome drinks.

It is a very chill but social place where you get a small insight to the local life in the delta. The owners and workers are extremely friendly and funny and you will have a great time here. I highly recommend doing their boat tour, had an amazing day! Oh and the food is some of the best you will ever have, great for vegetarians! They also have a filtered water tap so you don’t need to worry about that.

Motorbike and bicycle available for rent. Quite area, but still near the city. Highly recommended staying!

Mekong Home is a family-run homestay, located on the stretch of Ham Luong River in Ben Tre. Guests can enjoy free use of bicycles, free WiFi access in entire area and free parking at a site nearby. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the Mekong slow lifestyle under the rain. The hotel facilities are very nice, hidden within the hidden and plants : it is a beautiful and relaxing environment in the Mekong Delta. The food is excellent (cooked fresh from the market everyday) and you wouldn’t need to leave the property except for the tours. the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and propose activities for you, in a nice and respectful way. he is the best host you can dream of ! Way to go, Khoa!
