No tuvimos la suerte de ver muchos animales porqué básicamente llegamos después de cada día de una intensa jornada de safari pero compensó con el maravilloso paisaje y la experiencia de alojarse en un lodge tipo tienda de campaña pero con todos las comodidades y lujo de una habitación de un hotel. Habitación muy cómoda, con cama king Size y un gran baño. Y os recomendamos bañaros en la piscina! Se respira mucha tranquilidad y sobre todo un trato muy personal, se esfuerzan mucho por dar un servicio de calidad aunque se nota que estas en Tanzania dónde hay cosas de las que no disponen. Internet sólo disponible en las zonas comunes. Las comidas se sirven en un restaurante con vistas al lago, es un lujo! Recomendable 100%.

El DUPOTO HOMESTAY VILLAGE - MASAI VILLAGE (BOMA) se encuentra en Mto wa Mbu. Ofrece vistas al lago. Todas las mañanas se sirve un desayuno buffet, continental e inglés/irlandés completo. Poder vivir la experiencia massai de una manera real y auténtica. Mosis es un Anfitrión de 10 y la gente del pueblo muy amables todos también. Lo mejor son los niños!

El Sonofjohnhomestay ofrece vistas al jardín y alojamiento con bar, jardín y terraza a unos 7 km del complejo Sumawe. Se proporcionan toallas y ropa de cama. Really nice vibe. The rooms are a good size. A couple of good area to relax in the garden compound. Note, is located in a traditional village just outside of town. This is a plus but you need to have your own transport or take a taxi there

El Ava garden backpackers se encuentra en Mto wa Mbu y ofrece vistas al jardín, bar, jardín y terraza. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for finding this location along my journey. I BOOKED FOR 2 NIGHTS BUT ENDED UP STAYING ALMOST A MONTH. The hostel is located on the edge of Manyara national park, basically the entry to the wilderness (how lucky can one be?!)🫶🏻🍀💚. When I got out of hectic Arusha, I was desperately seeking for a green and chill stay, far from bustling or too touristy places. I was welcomed by the lovely staff, Diana, Neema and Dattomax J. The moment I met them I realized the experience will be personal. I told them I wish for a local experience and visit particular tribes in the surrounding. Not only that I was given a great price (compared to the unreasonable prices some hostels give in Arusha), Dattomax has arranged my tours the nights before. Absolutely last minute requests from my side but all was realized absolutely professional. Through the staff I had the opportunity to learn a huge scope of information about the culture, more specifically: family manners & values, politics, farming, cooking and music. Throughout my stay I had over plenty different activities covered: PRIVATE TRIBE VISITS (hadzabe, datoga, masaii), GREEN PROJECTS (visit to different contemporary and traditional painters, school visits), SAFARIS (arranged for next day incl. Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro), FOOD AND FABRIC MARKETS (later visited a local tailor which was also a beautiful experience), WATERFALLS & SECRET VIEWPOINTS. And let's just include activites as Coca moto (setting fire in the garden of Ava), night outs and all the deep talks. The food catered was breakfast included: always fresh fruits, vegetables, local bites and Diana's infamous sweet pancakes. 🥞 ❤️ (lunch and dinner was also possible).The beds were super comfy, all equipped bathrooms with HOT SHOWERS ALL TIMES!! Which is super rare for hostels in Africa. My eternal gratitude for everything.

El Lilac Hideaway se encuentra a 1,6 km del complejo Sumawe y ofrece vistas al jardín, bar, salón compartido y jardín. We enjoyed our stay at this very quiet and comfortable place very much and even extanded it for some days. Perfect for day trips to lake manyara and ngorongoro national parks. Staff is very helpful and even arranged a laundry service for us.

El Ngorongoro Villa and Restaurant está a 600 metros del complejo Sumawe y ofrece alojamiento, restaurante, bar, salón compartido y jardín. La villa sirve un desayuno continental. Food is delicious, and chef is very nice. Environment is super enjoyable.
