It was surprisingly easy to find the Dosun considering all the smalls streets, stairs and alleyways. We arrived and welcomed by the hosts and they were very helpful in explaining what is available and where it was on a map when we checked in. They provided lovely egg sandwiches and coffee for breakfast. The room had a lovely view and was warm on the cold rainy nights we stayed. The beds are a little on the harder side but still comfortable.

Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The location couldn't have been better. I travelled with my elderly parents and wanted to be close to the old street without having to climb too many stairs. The owners were nice enough to give us the only room on the main floor. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The room and public areas were so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also stellar and highlighted the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. From the decor to the quality of furniture and customer service, we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into running the b&b.

We love everything about Jiufen Cafe Sleep. The host was very helpful, the accomodation was unique, clean and well equiped. The breakfast was delicious. The location is superb!

晶晶輕旅民宿 is situated in Ruifang, 27 km from Raohe Street Night Market, 27 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, and 29 km from Taipei 101. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

Sunflecks Jiufen er gististaður í Jiufen, 34 km frá Wufenpu-fataheildsölusvæðinu og 36 km frá Taipei 101. Þaðan er útsýni yfir garðinn. Oh incredible place. One of the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the house is so cosy and beautiful. I wish I can come back soon.

The location is very good, right at the top of Jishan street, where it is pretty quiet, but you can reach everything you need in Jiufen by only walking a couple of minutes. The room is spacious, has everything you need and a smart toilet as well as AC and a dehumidifier. Bed was very comfortable as well. The host is great! He welcomed me personally and told me a lot about Jiufen and the area and gave me recommendations for food as well as small trips. The price is reasonable, you really can't ask for anything more. There is also a breakfast included which the host places in front of your room door in the morning and you can collect and enjoy whenever you want, which was also very much appreciated. Great host and great place to enjoy Jiufen and the Pingxi area!
