Very, very friendly host and hostess. Tok and Big, thank you very much for your kindness and lovely care. They are very flexible and open to help in any kind of situation. One of the many advantages of staying here is that you can rent a motorbike for only 250 baht a day. You only have to fill in your signature on a paper and that's it! No leaving your passport behind or paying a deposit. We wanted to take the moterbike for one or two days to Pai and that was no problem at all. Tok even checked our moterbike for any kind of problems.They didn't make us pay for the checkup. Also if you have any questions Tok and Big will try to help where they can. They give some tips about nice locations in Thailand that aren't too touristy and they can call a cab or an organisation for you. Our room was very big and clean, we liked the style of the interior and the vibe of the room. In the shared 'kitchen' outside, you can use drinking water, coffee and tea for free. The only disadvantage is that the location is not close to the city center, but a seven eleven is nearby (5 minutes walk). It also wasn't too bad of a location, we walked several times to the night market (18 minute walk) So if you do not mind to walk a bit then this is just perfect. It was nice to have your own room to rest and also the living area aka the kitchen outside to socialize with other travelers. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place in Chiang Mai.

This place was perfect for me. Room is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It has a microwave, fridge, comfy bed, couch, TV with netflix ( and of course AC and free wifi) ... The owner is very attentive and great help if you need. It is located a bit outside the main touristy / expat parts of town, but that is actually a plus for me. More authentic experience, and it is only a 5 minute drive from the center - which you can do with grab (local uber) or local jeepneys. This area is linked to the University, so lots of good local eating options nearby.

Set in Mae Chaem, Monsonkeang Camping view ม่อนสันเกี๋ยง features accommodation with seating area. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. We had the most wonderful stay at Monsonkeang Camping View. would definitely recommend it to everyone. First off the surroundings and vibe was beautiful. You wake up with the sunrise and can furthermore enjoy the sunset at night. Secondly the owners are extremely kind and open, they made us feel very at home. They also gave us some great recommendations that we would not have found our selves. Lastly the food we had was amazing and they even cooked things for us that weren’t on the menu. Definitely a 10/10 stay!
