Wonderful little family guesthouse in a very quiet neighborhood, that I am always coming back to when in Bangkok. This time I was able to leave my luggage to go on a 10 day trip south with no extra charge. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. AC works great and it was great to have a small balcony. 20 min walking distance to Khao San Area and 8 min walk to Thewet Pier where you can catch the ferries to the main seight seeing areas. Lot’s of good street food around.

Roger, the host, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped aboard. The room was cozy and nice.

Nhìn ra khu vườn, TEAK VILLA cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có khu vườn và ban công, cách Trung tâm mua sắm Mega Bangna khoảng 7.5 km. Super clean and quiet, comfortable bed, big and modern bathroom, laundry hanger in the private balcony, delicious breakfast, lovely garden, great location, great value for money. The location is perfect for us. You may catch the red songthaew (8 baht) just outside udomsuk BTS station and ring the bell to get off when you see the 2nd patrol station (~10 mins), then cross the road and walk 2 mins to the hotel. When going to other direction, just wave when you see the very frequent red songthaew which has a huge word "BTS" written in front, so you won't miss it. It will stop just outside the market underneath the BTS. There are plenty of eateries and restaurants and 7-11 nearby this hotel, and a local night market is 5 mins walk. There is music and beer and some 30 ish delicious and cheap but very clean food stalls. But what we loved the most is actually the local food market underneath the udomsuk BTS. We bought cooked authentic food nearly every late afternoon. The friendly housekeeper let us use all the kitchen utensils with a big fan and we can enjoy the food and drink in the garden every evening. Will definitely return to Teak villa whenever we go to bkk again.
