One of the reasons that I booked were the lovely reviews about the food and I could not have chosen a better place. Breakfast was very basic like the other places we stayed in Senegal (we usually buy fruits to add in our meals) but lunch and dinner were yummy yummy. I loved the small charming details during each meal. Muito obrigada!!! Highly recommend that you do the tour with the local guide - it was nice to know the history and traditions of Mar Lodje. We missed the service of the Catholic Church on Sunday but if you can book your stay to be there - looks amazing!

Just everything! Keur Niaye is a beautiful oasis and Celine and Gilles are such amazing hosts! They organized two unforgettable tours with the great guide Doudou, who knew almost every animal and tree. Every evening there was a really delicious three-course menu and it was particularly great that we ate together with the hosts and learned a lot about the village. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We could have stayed much longer and done one of the exciting activities every day!

The warm reception at a rest hole by an artistic local soul. The dive in the Atlantic from this island. A 13,000 cfa per kg of fresh sea lobsters for dinner. Plus a 1000 cfa large squid, it was the best deal.

This was my first time staying in a forest hotel and even though the hotel room was a tent, the facilities were very good with air conditioning and washroom. The Safari experience was very good and I took a lot of pictures of birds and wild animals. The staff of the hotel are very warm and polite and provide professional English service. It was a very memorable experience.

A simple, but enjoyable house with a lot of charm. The house was clean and safe and the kitchen is well-equipped. Enough space for a group of for friends. The location at the beach is superb and you can wonderfully relax on the sunbeds and watch the sunset. The staff took good care of us. Recommended!
