This is aurbnb was the most novel accommodation I have ever slept in! The room was filled with retro memorabilia, including jukebox, pinball machine, and a little, colourful bar. There was 50s Americana all over the place! Ingrid was extremely kind in arranging to collect me from the railway station because it was raining in Kil. Ingrid couldn’t have done enough for me, and I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Kil.

Featuring garden views, Villa Fryksta in Kil offers accommodation, an open-air bath, a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Lovely setting with amazing sunsets. The nature trails across the road were wonderful for hiking. We enjoyed a walk through the woods all the way to Kil. Swimming in the lake was the best way to begin our day.

Situated in Arvika, Fröya Bed & Breakfast features accommodation with a flat-screen TV. Complimentary WiFi is provided. Perfect retreat after exploring Sweden for two interrailers heading to Norway. The peace and tranquillity was idyllic. As was the proximity to the lake and forest walks. Cabin was toasty and cosy and the outdoor eating area was a bonus. Wished we could have spent longer there.

Staying in a Historic (Est.1836) B&B, THE LODGE Torsby is situated 18 km north of Torsby, and 50 km from Sunne or Malung. So beautiful place, styled with very good taste. Good beds and view from the windows could not be better. Tasty breakfast decorated with friendly service. We can highly recommend this place.

Located in a former schoolhouse dating back about 100 years, Guesthouse Eleven is situated in the picturesque village of Jössefors. a converted school building, it was conveniently located on our route to Norway. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
