People indeed make a difference, and that's why we would return without hesitation. The warmth we experienced from Fissa, Antoine, and Tom was incredible! We felt genuinely welcomed and enjoyed two superb dinners with them. Sharing the table with other guests, we engaged in delightful conversations, although our french was almost not existing, and savored a glass (or two) of rum. Unforgettable! A special thank you to Tom, who provided unwavering support throughout our stay. Even when we faced a memory storage issue, he came to our rescue (and sacrificed his sleep ^^). The next little house is approximately 50 meters away, ensuring ample privacy. Ours even had a Jacuzzi, a delightful addition after a hike. We adore animals, so it was charming to see a lovely dog and a donkey strolling around. While the house and its furnishings weren't extravagant, they had everything you needed and, most importantly, were impeccably clean.

The lady of the house keeps the property in an excellent state and everything is as clean as in a 5 star hotel. Furthermore, she is very attentive and serves an epic breakfast, directs you to the few restaurants around and the property is very close to hiking trails that go into Mafate.

The apartments are located in a quiet side street of Hell-Bourg, everything in the small village is within a few minutes walking distance. Linda, the host, gave us a friendly welcome and was always easy to reach, very nice and uncomplicated. We felt very comfortable here.

I think we got a bigger room than the one we booked, which was basically a small house. it has everything you could need and a big bath, which was nice after hiking! we used it as a base to do day hikes.

David was so communicative and careful throughout the stay, kept us updated every day and checked in regularly via message to make sure everything was going smoothly, which it was, zero problems throughout! The only downside is that we could only stay two nights and not longer!
