Fantastic view across the vineyards and down to the sea, clean and modern rooms, good breakfast. Great wine :) The dining experience we had here was incredible and definitely part of the Azores Wine Company experience - can’t recommend this enough. The tasting was also great fun, and the staff of course were very knowledgable about their wine and the history of winemaking in Pico.

Absolutely loved the decor, the bed was comfortable, amenities in the kitchen were great. Loved the terry cloth bathrobes. Hostess was very accomodating. Responded in a timely fashion . Excellent stay, excellent location.

It is just an amazing place! Located in a very nice place at Pico island. You will be surprised that it looks even better than on pictures. Appartments are super clean, equipped with all you need and have huge beds where you sleep like a baby. You will for sure like homemade breakfasts on the terrase with a view. We recommend to try dinner prepared by the host! It's really worth it. If we are back to Pico, we will definitely stay at this place again!

Beautiful location overlooking Sao Roque and across the water to Sao Jorge. The apartment had everything we needed and when the sun was shining we loved the large balcony-patio. From this location, you're close to so many things (assuming you have a car). Our host was amazing before, during, and after our stay, responding by text very quickly whenever we had a question or needed anything. She was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The kitchen is excellent, and so are the bathroom and beds. Very quiet at night.

Well equipped apartments in a good location. Andreia is a very friendly and caring host. We are very satisfied and highly reccomend it for couples and families.

Debora was accessible, friendly, organized and quick to respond. Rooms were a good size and artistically decorated. They were spotless. The restaurant below the property is delicious - we ate there twice. No need to look further. Reviews are correct. Just book it.

The owner was really friendly and told us a lot about Azorean culture and life in Pico. He has built the house himself and it is spacious and beautiful. We want to come back!

Vinhas do Calhau er staðsett í Madalena á Pico-eyju og er með svalir. Gististaðurinn er með sjávarútsýni og verönd. The staff is wonderful. First, they helped us book a rental car after our plans fell through even though we were unable to find any available cars on the island. Also, our luggage was left behind by the airline and then delivered to the hotel after we had already left. Ana works reception at the hotel and called me to let me know so I could work with the airline to get it picked up and sent to our current island. Then Ana also called us when the bags were picked up. This was imperative because the airline made no attempt to let us know they had our bags. Ana told me the flight time from Pico to the island we were on and so we stopped by the airport and found our bags. They were separated away from the bags being delivered that day and had not been entered into the system. It took 5 days to get our bags and it would have been longer if not for Ana. We are so grateful for everyone there. Also the room was spacious with a great view.
