My stay at Cerrito Tropical Eco Lodge exceeded all expectations. Initially planned for 4 nights, I spontaneously extended my stay with 2 additional nights simply because it was so enjoyable and lovely (both location and even more the staff). The location of the Eco Lodge is perfect: close to the center, yet peacefully situated on a small hill with access to beautiful hiking trails in nature. The breathtaking view over the ocean with ships waiting for the canal passage is characteristic of Panama and has a magical touch. Also, the rooms are spotless and well-equipped with everything you need. The hostess, Vicky, elevates hospitality to a higher level. She goes above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic stay. From homemade sourdough pizza to pineapple ginger jam at breakfast – everything is prepared with lots of love. Cerrito Tropical Eco Lodge is truly a place where you can feel the passion and dedication. Highly recommended!

Helpful concierge. Great location on the square with perfect restaurant options downstairs and across the street. From airport , you can take Metro to Cinco de Mayo for $2 pp and then Uber from there for $5, saving $40 taxi ride. Don't walk from Cinco de Mayo stop. Nice views from rooftop. Coffee pot and full fridge in room. Location of condo is in a heavily guarded sector of old city. Very safe.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a balcony, Villa La Fortuna is situated in Filipina. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting altos del maria.
