La Casa de los Patos is a recently renovated guest house in Valle de Anton, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Everything was great. Fully equipped kitchen, neat and clean rooms, peaceful area and near everything in El Valle.

Great location right near the trail head of La India Dormida. The owner Ariel went out of his way to make us feel at home and make our travels easy. He is probably the most hospitable host we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us in town at the bus stop and offered to drop us off at the bus stop when we were leaving. He is very knowledgeable about the town and activities, and loves to share music and stories. The communal spaces are very homely, there is a big backyard space and a river alongside the property.

Situated in Río Hato, a few steps from Santa Clara Beach, Bed & Breakfast T.T provides air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. Beautiful and well kept property with great access to the beach!

Casa India Dormida offers accommodations in two holiday homes. Each accommodation has a terrace with mountain view with seating furniture, and hammock, as well as a separate bathroom and kitchenette. Very clean, nice decoration, very close to the India Dormida hiking. There was tea and coffee available for breakfast. Jason welcomed us in a very friendly and professional way. He is a great host. He was always reachable to help us during our stay and advised us about what to do in the area.

El Valle de Anton La Chachalaca is situated in Valle de Anton. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The rooms are fitted with a patio with garden views. The location was absolutely amazing. It was out of the town, so very quiet. The view was absolutely spectacular. We had high expectations and they were exceeded! I have stayed and worked in many locations in Central America, and I can honestly say that this place ranks high. The grounds and landscaping were gorgeous. The quiet, remote location was just to our liking, and the birding was great. Our hostess was tremendously helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed! We are avid birders, and racked up a good list right on the property and road, and greatly enjoyed the morning performance at the fruit feeders. In addition to birds, we saw several species of frogs and lizards, a porcupine, a possum, squirrels, and some really interesting insects. We wished we had three weeks instead of three days!

Lizneth was a very resourceful and kind host and she made us feel at home. The bedroom was very comfortable and our breakfast, whilst simple, was very good and it replenished our energy after a long night of hard-partying. Lizneth also has birds! Don’t really know how that’s relevant but having breakfast while listening at the birds chirping was nice too haha.

The hosts were very friendly and nice. The location was quiet and within short walking distance to the beach. The room was super clean. Pool and common seating area were great. We really enjoyed our stay.
