El Moon Light Camp se encuentra en Badīyah, a 3,1 km de Shāhiq y a 3,8 km de Al Raka. El camping sirve un desayuno halal. Such a special stay. Communication was brilliant and friendly, pick up was easy (Mintrab castle, 5 rial/car) would recommend as the drive was amazing and great to chat and take pics. Dinner was delicious (5 rial pp). Lots of activities to choose from, but we just relaxed and soaked it all in. A fire to end the evening. A quick note, we came after a rare bout of bad weather, but big thanks to the team for communication and helping us plan our trip. We also couldn’t believe how clean everything was, especially after the rain!

El Rashed Desert Camp cuenta con terraza y se encuentra en Badīyah, a 1,5 km de Jāḩis, a 1,7 km de Al Ghabbī y a 3,1 km de Shāhiq. Nos encantó el lugar y el trato con Rashid, ¡muy buen anfitrión! El tamaño del campamento permite un trato cercano con el personal y los otros huéspedes. Las tiendas son muy espaciosas, más de lo que parece en las fotos y están suficientemente separadas para tener privacidad unas de otras. Recomendamos la actividad de dune bashing.

El Nomadic Desert Camp se encuentra en Al Wāşil. Se encuentra a 40 km de Ibrā y ofrece estacionamiento privado gratuito. Se proporcionan toallas y ropa de cama. Un alojamiento muy auténtico. El enclave perfecto, aislado de todo y de todos. Cabañas individuales y separadas, de modo que tienen mucha privacidad. Existen muchos baños y duchas disponibles. La cena y desayuno muy buenos y abundantes. Es gestionado por una familia q es muy hospitalaria. Siempre a tu disposicion te, café y agua fresca, todo ello acompañado de unos exquisitos datiles. Nosotros hicimos una hora en 4x4 por las dunas y luego nos llevaron a ver la puesta de sol a un paraje donde solo estás tú. Nuestro chofer fue Abdullah q es el dueño del hotel, persona muy amable, servicial, sonriente y divertida. Una experiencia inmejorable y totalmente recomendable.

First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

El The camels adventures camp se encuentra en Badīyah, en la región de Al Sharqiyah, y tiene patio. Este camping de lujo cuenta con jardín y estacionamiento privado gratuito. The camp was just right. Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

El Crescent Desert Camp se encuentra en Shāhiq y ofrece una terraza. En el camping de lujo hay estacionamiento privado gratuito. El Crescent Desert Camp sirve todos los días un desayuno buffet. Everything was perfect. Reception, dinner and breakfast. Activities. Horse and camel riding and sand riding by car. 4/4 The driver was skilled and highly experienced. We recommend this camp.

El Ras Al Hadd Orchid se encuentra en Al Ḩadd, a 1,5 km de la playa de Al Hadd y a 200 metros del fuerte de Al Hadd, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, salón compartido y... Echteir it's an incredible host! He's young and kind, welcoming and helping! We simply adore him! We have passed two incredible days over there in Ras . Thank you "Ector"☺️😍

THE DUNES SANDS PRIVATE CAMP se encuentra en Al Wāşil, en la región de Al Sharqiyah, y ofrece terraza y vistas a la montaña. Ofrece acceso a un balcón y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Choosing a place to stay in the desert can be overwhelming as there are just so many options. We chose Hamood’s desert camp after hours of research, and simply put, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. From the minute we met Hamood at the meeting point, he truly made us feel like part of his family. He is a natural host: extremely welcoming, funny, and kind. We stayed two nights (highly recommend) in this beautiful camp. There are only four total tents in the camp, as compared to some of the larger camps with dozens and dozens. The smaller camp made it so much more of an intimate experience. The food was homemade and delicious. Hamood built a campfire each night after dinner and we sat under the stars, enjoying the company and learning about Omani culture. All in all, if you are visiting the desert you must stay here! You won’t be disappointed.

El SAFARI-Glamping ofrece alojamiento en Bidiyah, a 50 km de Wadi Bin Khalid y a 20 km del desierto de la localidad de Al Hawaiyah. This was the highlight of our trip to Oman. The accommodation is basic but very comfortable and well appointed given its location. It was so quiet and peaceful. The food fabulous and plentiful. Farhad is an amazing cook and looked after us beautifully. Honestly, we will be back. We stayed two nights and wish we had stayed a little longer. To fully appreciate this part of Oman I think two nights is the minimum. Our host arranged dune bashing and a sunset camel ride. Both were really fabulous. The whole operation is super well organised. Very slick - we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Just one hint - have your shower in the afternoon when the sun has warmed the water a little.
