This is a really cozy, stylish and cute guesthouse in the amazing Al Hamra little village. It is a traditional building of more than 1000 years old all made new with a great style. The room is very comfortable, the common area is great to chat with other guests and the roof terrace is just amazing to see the sunset with views of the village. The breakfast is all home made with the most delicious jams, breads and juice.

Nastanitev Balcony walk rest house Jabal shams se nahaja v mestu Sa‘ab Banī Khamīs in ponuja teraso. Počitniška hiška se nahaja v zgradbi iz leta 2022 in ponuja brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. The property is on the top of the Balcony Walk village. You can see the astonishing view from this property, sit int the big yard or head to the back hill of this property to see the canyon from top with surrounding cute goats. It’s the best location! Even you don’t go the the Balcony Walk hiking, you can just stay at the property and enjoy the view. The property is really well equipped and so clean! With this view, big kitchen, yard and rooms, you can find it that it’s really valuable because the other properties in this area are so expensive. The host, Ibrahim, is really nice, we drive a small car with 4people and find it hard to drive up. I call the host and he ask his friend nearby to come to us in 10mins to help us. Then his friend drive our car with total 5 people and successfully drive us up to the top! it’s an amazing and exciting experience. Thanks for Ibrahim and his friend’s help. (we also learned the skill how to drive on the steep and sand road. Haha. )

Amazing location, right at the beginning of W6 trail and very quiet at night. Only a bit difficult to reach if you don't have a AWD/4x4 car. Super nice area to enjoy a barbecue/bonfire. Be aware there is no wifi and signal is limited (not a problem if you are aware of it).

After a sudden change of plans, I chose the 228Hostel to stay for a couple of nights, mainly to do the Jabal Shams Balcony Walk. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this stay so much! Mahmoud and Marita are amazing hosts, they were helpful and fun to talk to. They organized a nice dinner along with other guests staying one night. It is very refreshing to hear the stories and experiences from all of them. The views from the room and the rooftop are amazing. I highly recommend!
