We had an amazing stay at Naura Roomstay. Luka our host was super friendly and helpful, gave us good tipps and recommendations for treks in the national park and restaurants to go to. The breakfast which was offered was just amazing, very good local food but also toast with jam, butter etc and fried eggs. The view from the terrace over the river and the jungle was very special and beautiful. Luka offered us the best service, as the roomstay is a little outside of Kuala Tahan, he drove us to the village and picked us up again. The room was clean and provided everything we needed.

I was a little bit sceptical about the included half board option but it turned out to be the best decision. There were quite a lot of options to choose from and it was delicious. Also I usually do not book tours from hotels due to overpricing but it seemed they have regullar price + it was a nice lift forward and backward in a Hilux trunk seats. My family also liked a very nice and maintained tropical garden.

The staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, big, beautifully placed in the big property. I loved that my chalet was in front of a large patch of pandan, and it smelt wonderful. The chalet is located away from the main town square and that made it much quieter-something that I really wanted. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

In the mornings when groups are getting ready to go trekking or needing to catch a shuttle, he’s always making sure everyone is taken care, whether that means he’s driving people to where they need to go etc. the house itself is very cute, painted with love and you can just feel the good vibes. Bed was very comfy.

Hana Guesthouse er staðsett í Kuala Tahan og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með fjallaútsýni. The stay is absolutely excellent and really good value for money. The host goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. He even drove us to the bus station on the morning we were leaving. Thank you!

The owners are really friendly and kind, the rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms as well, there’s air con and a window, a nice terrace with a roof, chairs and a table, a place where you can hang your clothes for drying, refill station for water (cold and hot), there’s tea and snacks on the porch, the location is in the center of the small village and close to the river. I hurt my foot on a jungle tour and the owner was so kind and went to the restaurant nearby and came back with a pack of ice to cool my ankle. Liked it here very much!!!

The location was great and the place was clean. Perfect parking spots for our bikes in front of our room. The owner was kind enough to provide us with a hairdryer when requested.
