We feel like home with the family. The lodge is very close to the beach and fare from the airport. The host take me to a celabration for hari raya and it was amazing. The host Dee was the best! He was so nice and welcoming, gave fab recommendations & helped to organise a bike for us super quickly. The vibe is really welcoming (especially with the Christmas tree!) and it has a relaxed social atmosphere. Not that we used it but the kitchen I think is fully stocked in terms of supplies if you wanted something home cooked. About a 15 ish minute walk to the main street in Cenang.

Featuring inner courtyard views, The Temak Villa features accommodation with balcony, around 700 metres from Pantai Tengah Beach. I was lucky to stay in the tree house only as the second guest. the owner and his family were amazing, friendly and helpful, I especially enjoyed the homemade snacks they shared with their guests. The hotel is a bit away from the main street, nice and quiet, but in walking distance to the beach, town and numerous restaurants. The easiest way go get around is by renting a motor bike (approx 40 ringgit/day), the owner can recommend some shops. Highly recommended!
