Fantastic visit at a hidden gem on the East Coast. Ashley and his family treated us like royalty. This amazingly spacious apartment had a King Size comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, aircon, wifi and even a brand new washing machine...what more can you ask for. Hosts provided us with 2 authentic Mauritian cuisine meals and arranged a catamaran trip for us at a very good rate. We really enjoyed the stay!

Jay, notre hôte nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Il nous a parlé de son île avec passion. Il nous a également partagé de bonnes adresses et a toujours été aux petits soins pour nous. Je vous recommande de prendre la formule avec le petit déjeuner, un régal !! De plus, nous avions un invité de marque tous les matins, Maurice, un joli petit oiseau à qui L’appartement est spacieux, d’une propreté irréprochable et très confortable (nous avons très bien dormi). Il possède une grande terrasse aménagée. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement. Nous avons pu nous garer gratuitement. Si vous cherchez un lieu au calme pour aller vous promener, foncez au Shanti Nivas.

Location: the place is very private and peaceful. It's a nice location to visit the whole north east coast. Food: the food is cooked with love, with a perfect fusion of Mauritian and Thai cuisine. Staff: the family that owns this place has poured all their heart into it! Overall, we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Le Blue Ocean Suites and apartments est un ensemble de 6 suites et appartements situés sur la plage de Trou d'Eau Douce. I loved the house: from the view to the furniture, it’s all cured in detail and the pictures are exactly like reality. You’re really waking up with the ocean in front of you. You can have breakfast on the terrace and dinner too, it’s never too windy. The house is equipped with all the commodities including towels to use on the beach, shower gel, conditioner; oil, vinegar, pans and all sort of tools to cook. A special note for the amazing hospitality of Sabrina. She waited for us until late in the evening and arranged an amazing boat trip (which I highly recommend… it’s 90$ per person all day on a boat with lunch on an island included, a real bargain). The house was cleaned almost daily and you could ask anything to the cleaners who were there every morning.

The house is located in a new neighborhood just a few minutes drive from the beach. Nice and quiet area which felt very safe. The house is big and airy, decorated with nice new furniture (very comfortable sofa) and everything you need if you feel like cooking. AC in the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Secure parking. The lovely Mehzabine met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us around and we also met Vikram the owner. The pool is not very big but everything you need to dip and stay cool.
