At the villa complex, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Everything was spectacular!! The staff were so welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious. THE VIEWS !!!! The swimming pool, the peace and quiet, the lake.. we didn’t even pay attention to the villa itself and still it was gorgeous and comfy. But the service, the place the location. Wow! We saw buffalos from the room, a crocodile, peacocks… it was AMAZING

The tents were lovely, a little bit of wear and tear but it’s to be expected in a jungle with rain. What made it special though was the staff and the experiences they provide. We booked our safari through them and got a private safari with a very knowledgeable ranger. It was also done in a 4WD (an old school Land Rover which was very cool), whilst many others are in 2WD. We found out the benefit of this as the roads were very badly damaged from the heavy rain the last few days and many cars got stuck, whilst ours didn’t. Another highlight was a candlelit dinner in the wilderness, as well as breakfast up in the tree canopies. We won’t ever forget this stay. Our only wish is that we stayed two nights rather than one as we didn’t get time to use the private pool

Great guest house with a nice room and spacious bathroom. The location is great and the owners are incredible. Not only did they offer to pick me up from the bus station but also made sure to help me organize a safari and to pick nice restaurants to eat at. If you want to visit Yala National Park do yourself a favor and stay there!!!!

Every room comes with a patio with garden views. The property is within 6 km of Yala Block 5 and Lunugamwehera wildlife parks. Located next to a sea of green rice paddies, so the view from our room on the top floor was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and all around excellent. They organized a good safari to Yala for us. Also, it was fun to go and take a look at actual cinnamon trees at the plantation nearby.

Wild Lotus is fully staffed and the rate includes services of a private chef, guests can order from a thoughtfully crafted menu. We definitely had a "wow" effect upon check-in, property is very nice, very quiet, we just wish we could have stayed longer as it was a one-night stay only, with a very early check out due to safari trip.

The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

Kele Yala is located just 15 minutes and 7 km away from the Katagamuwa Entrance of Yala National Park, where there is less traffic compared to the main entrance of the National Park. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

The staff are very friendly, they provided us with everything we needed and offered us papaya juice the moment we arrived. The lunch was amazing and delicious at a great price! Beautiful place with a beautiful view and garden, it was more than perfect, and I recommend everyone to stay at this place.
