This is a fantastic budget guest house run by the most friendly couple. Food is exceptional evening and breakfast. Rooms are incredibly clean and large. Location mins away from safari.

Beautiful location, amazing Room equipped with all you need, great pool. Nice restaurant. Safari organized by the hotel. Only a very thin bed sheet provided. Could definitely use a small blanket too though.

Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. The owner, Janith is a great guy, he can organize everything, he is also a safari driver/guide with own transport. Unfortunately he was sick when we were there, but his friend Passadu was a great, safe driver who made my son very happy by showing at least 20 species of animals during our 6hr safari in the morning. Also his mother's breakfast in the National Park and her homemade curry for dinner were very delicious.

Extremely warm and welcoming host. Really good property with all the facilities. Sachith made sure that our stay was good not only in Uda Walawe but in whole of Sri Lanka. He made sure we get comfortable and value for money transportation throughout our Sri Lanka Trip. The home cooked food was authentic and tasty.

I was lucky enough to stay in the treehouse! So much of the food that they use is grown right on the property. Everything was fresh and delicious! Our guide to the Safari was so knowledgeable and very kind. He also took us around the area to see a beautiful sunset one night, helped us arrange for transportation, and even took us into town to run errands. And of course the safari was something we will never forget! Overall, it was a fabulous stay. And we all wish we could’ve stayed for much longer! Highly recommend!
