We really liked Betty’s Cottage and the owners were really nice. They booked our bus from Colombo to Jaffna which was a huge help, and they waited up until 4 am for us to arrive. We had only booked the place for the following night so they charged us half a day. The breakfast offered was fine, nothing to rave about. The WiFi is really good! The hosts are also nice and very dedicated to making sure we got everything we needed.

We liked the place but you do need your own transportation to get there. The accommodation has its own kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 beds. We got dinner from the neighbor twice and it was beyond delicious!! The walk to the beach is short. The owners are super friendly and caring, it was a pleasure to stay here. Malabar home stay ligger i Jaffna, 3,5 km fra Jaffna Station og 4,5 km fra Jaffna Public Library. Der er udsigt til haven og haven. Very homely, room was large and clean with good airconditioning. The host was super nice, helpful and friendly, always around to offer help. His wife makes the most delicious home made Jaffna food, try the mutton and crab curry. The place is on a very quiet street, however, it was easy to get a tuk tuk in and out of town or to any place of interest.
