Set in Katunayake, SEBASTIAN TRANSIT KATUNAYAKE is a recently renovated accommodation, 7.6 km from St Anthony's Church and 29 km from R Premadasa Stadium. Excellent accommodation for airport transit - it is very well equipped with anything you might need (large, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, AC, even a washing machine and a very well equipped kitchen). There are also snacks you can purchase if arriving at night and the stores are closed. Last but not least - the apartment location is just perfect, just a few minutes drive away from the airport, and the owner will drive you there free of charge (my flight was super early, and that was not an issue). Overall, an excellent value and highly recommended to make your first or last day in Sri Lanka hassle-free.

Located within 9 km of St Anthony's Church and 28 km of R Premadasa Stadium, Murphy's Villa offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Katunayake. I wasn't there long but Tissa and staff were very nice and helpful! Room was better than I expected (deluxe double) and very clean. Nice and close to the airport and was an easy pickup late at night. The Bamboo Tree Transit Hotel, a property with a garden, is located in Katunayake, 26 km from R Premadasa Stadium, 27 km from Khan Clock Tower, as well as 32 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station. We stayed at this hotel arriving with a late flight and at the end of our holiday before the flight back. It is very easy to reach from the airport. The hotel is nice and clean and the owners will help you with whatever you need! We can only recommend it.

We started and finished our trip here in Negombo and absolutely loved the nature villa. It offers very comfortable and clean rooms with lovely interior and even a coffee/tea facility was provided. The villa also offers a great pool to relax. Also we enjoyed the amazing breakfast which let no wishes open. The beach, restaurants and supermarkets can be easily reached in walking distance. The owners are so welcoming and supportive at all times, we felt like home and will definitely stay here again once we come back to Sri Lanka.
