We had one of the best stays here in Sri Lanka so far! Our host Shan and his mum were super welcoming, kind and hospitable. They always made sure that we felt comfortable and at home. We got a free upgrade to their two-level room, which had the most amazing view over Gregory lake. There was hot water, thick bed sheets and the home made breakfast by his mum was sooo delicious!! My partner got a little bit sick, so they made us warm tea and some fried noodles for dinner. We felt very grateful for their kindness and can 100% recommend this place!

The bedroom was huge, clean and comfortable. Hot water bottles and extra blankets were provided for cold nights and the Sri Lankan breakfasts delicious. Highly recommended for a stay in Nuwara Eliya

It is such a beautiful hostel with thoughtful touches. Very clean and comfortable. I had a very relaxing stay. My favorite is waking up early in the morning with a breathtaking view from my windows. It’s in a quiet part of town, but only a few minutes to the city center. Above all, it’s very cheap! Really worth every penny spent.

Serendipity Lake Artistic Bungalow by Heidis Home ligger i Nuwara Eliya, 1,2 km fra Gregory-søen og 6,1 km fra Hakgala Botaniske Have. Der er udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. Such a creative and artistic environment. We just loved all the paintings and art work. Heidi amd her niece is so talented. They were extremely kind, attentive and really want all their guests to have the best experience ever in their homestay and in the city. They were so helpful with ideas. This is an outstanding homestay.

RC AWKWARD ligger i Nuwara Eliya, 1,5 km fra Gregory-søen og 5,5 km fra Hakgala Botaniske Have. Der er have og udsigt til haven. Pensionatet har fælles opholdsstue. En utrolig god vært. Virkelig dejlig stemning som er afslappet, nede på jorden og nysgerrig på dem som bor hos dem. Værelset ligger oven på familiens egen bolig, hvor fra man kigger ud i deres imponerende køkkenhave og får serveret morgenmaden også. Klart anbefales værdi! Ligger lidt uden for byen, men ikke noget som ikke kan nås med Tuktuk

The owner "aunty," was so hospitable, and her son was also very kind. Their room was very cozy and comfortable. We immensely enjoyed their homemade food, especially the kiribath (milk rice) and sambal , which were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this place for its warm hospitality and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.

We loved our stay at Woods Hut. We would highly recommend staying here. Wasantha and Chithra were amazing hosts, and made us feel very welcome. The suite was super comfortable, the views and deck is amazing, the bed was super cosy/comfortable and the shower had very good hot water. There was no need for aircon, it is naturally cold in the night. They were very accommodating and helped us with laundry and sorting a scooter hire/tuk tuk from the station. Chithra cooked us an absolutely amazing dinner on our final night, it was our favourite rice and curry in Sri Lanka! We had the pleasure of also meeting their son, Rashi who was very sweet and thoughtful too. This is an amazing family to meet while you are in Sri Lanka and soak up the loveliness of this special accomodation.
