The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.

Mali House was a lovely guesthouse to stay at, right next to the morning and night markets. The location of our room (second-floor, opposite side of the morning market) was very quiet in the mornings and the evenings. Andy was an incredible host. He gave great suggestions and helped us out with whatever we needed. He arranged a motorbike rental for us, as well as setting us up with transportation to the bus station. We would definitely stay here again!

The welcome drink and fruits was a nice touch (perfect timing because me and my wife were getting hungry)

Villa Ban Lakkham berjarak 3 menit jalan kaki dari Pasar Malam dan Kuil Xieng Thong, menawarkan kamar-kamar ber-AC yang modern dengan pemandangan sungai dari balkon pribadinya. Beautiful old house with hardwood floors and wooden furniture, huge comfy bed, shower cabin. Breakfast - both asian and western - was delicious and really the star of the show.
