The inn itself was beautiful. It was my first experience sleeping on traditional Korean bedding, so that was fun. My hosts were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area in a way that it made it much easier to plan my sightseeing. The location was fantastic. The host introduced me to another guest who had access to a car. She kindly agreed to let me tag along during her sightseeing. As a result I was able to see things I would not have been able to visit if left to my own devices. If I ever return to the area I will definitely be returning to this inn

I would not hesitate to stay again.

The staff was so kind and came to pick us up at the bus stop when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the home and gave us recommendations on the city. We will stay there again in the future.

Yettle Hanok Stay ligger 7,9 km fra Gyeongju World og 20 km fra Seokguram i Gyeongju. Der tilbydes indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og opholdsområde. The host is very accommodating and helpful giving us info on places to see near the area. The place is clean, quite both me and hubby slept good. The breakfast was good enough to start our day. The place is just walking distance to some sites and museum and restaurants. We had a great stay at the Yettle Hanok. Would definitely recommend it.

Gyeongju Tiamo Pension ligger i Gyeongju og har egen pool og bjergudsigt. Ejendommen har udsigt til poolen og haven og ligger 4,5 km fra Gyeongju World. Mr Kim was a good host whom can be communicated in English. The pension is spacious, clean and tidy with sufficient facilities. It is near Bulkasa Temple but not close to city centre. Thus, the environment is quiet with natural beauty. We highly recommend to take this pension if we travel to Gyeongju next time. Thanks for Mr Kim's hospitality.

Gyeongju Friend Guesthouse ligger i Gyeongju, 8,4 km fra Gyeongju World og 22 km fra Seokguram. Der er gratis wi-fi, terrasse og aircondition. A fantastic experience! I ended up staying for 5 nights here. The owner went well beyond requirements to make sure my stay was a good one. Very sweet and helpful despite not speaking much English (and my Korean being crap). The place is very clean and comfortable, good AC, good common area, excellent breakfast and very friendly and laid- back in general. I prefer to stay in places frequented more by local tourists than international ones and this place was perfect in that sense. No boring and hackneyed backpacking stories, just good insight into Korean culture from other guests. I've been lucky enough to be able to explore much of Asia at a snail's pace and this hostel was a top experience for me. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality! As for the town, there are some great things to see, most of all the. National Museum, the park with the tombs and the temple outside town. Also a great small 2 building museum in a park near the hostel which goes into detail on how the tombs were built. The hanok part of town I found a bit disappointing, mainly due to overcrowding and a theme park like feel to it- I much preferred the one in Jeonju to Gyeongju but enjoyed Gyeongju overall and, obviously, the guest house!
