Staying across the bridge provided us with a more genuine experience to see how life for the locals in Kampot is, far more so than the expat filled centre. But don’t worry it’s only a few minutes walk across the bridge to reach the centre.

Its a small family run business, but the attention to detail was extraordinary. From the hospitality of the hosts who helped us novices rent a scooter, plan a day trip, to the picturesque bungalows nestled in a little private oasis next to the Mekong River. 10/10 would stay again.

Very cheap for facilities and the rooms... all have good AC and hot showers
