We loved this place and was our first homestay! The family is just amazing that runs it and so kind and warm. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. The open spaces on the property are fabulous and feels like a home away from home:) I love the couple that runs it as they care about the people that stay there and everyone appears to love it. We stayed four days and was hard to leave. The Tuk tours are fabulous so don’t miss them. A true gem of a place and we enjoyed the walk into town and prefer being a little bit out. The food is good too! Best stay on our five week trip! 🇨🇦

What I enjoyed the most was Saro’s hospitality and the location (10-15 min from Battambang, in the nature). My bungalow was rudimentary inside (just a mattress on the floor, with some nice decoration and a well-needed fan though) and a desk to keep my thinks but, sincerely, I did not miss anything and I think that this is what made the charm of the place). I also had a private terrasse, which was more furnished (with 2 fans and a nice view), on which I would rest and chill. I also appreciated the possibility of taking the bike for free. Saro’s family was very nice too.

My grown-up son and I spent five unforgettable days with Phirum’s family. The family completely included us in their life and we became friends in this short time. They offer way more than any guesthouse would. The sweet Khmer bananas from their garden, the delicious homemade meals, the walks in the countryside - it all adds up to an unforgettable experience. I can still hear the hum of cicadas in the evening as I write this review. The rooms were as described, nothing flashy, but super clean and comfortable. Aircon in my son’s room was excellent and the fans in the bamboo hut made it nice and cool. Most importantly, in their home you will see how ordinary people live their lives, and the family give a great example of hospitality and resourcefulness. At first I was unsure about how we’d deal with the distance from city centre, but that was absolutely no problem. It’s only 15 mins away by tuktuk, and Phirum helped to negotiate local rate with the driver ($3). Also we spent a lot of time exploring the neighbourhood. A beautiful 30-minute walk takes you to the local Buddhist monastery and a smart restaurant with a lovely view, especially at sunset. I hope that you will come and stay with Phirum to discover real Cambodia for yourself.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, O'hamok family is located in Battambang, 2.8 km from Battambang Museum and 2.9 km from Colonial Buildings. The hosts are warm and welcoming, that made the whole difference. Thank you guys! We rented bikes and explored the area which was very nice. The place is as portrayed on the website, very simple but has everything you need on a basic level.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Battambang Dream Bungalows is located in Battambang in the Battambang Province Region, 8 km from Boeung Chhouk Market. OK, it's hard to rate or compare this to another hotel. This is an experience unique to itself. The owner of the hotel built the bamboo bungalows himself by hand. The entire structure and furniture is all bamboo. The food was absolutely delicious and the owners are so kind and go out of their way. If you want a rustic experience and a chance to relax then this is your place. It has a shared bath area and you use a sistern full of water and a scoop to wash yourself and western style toilets. It has a great sunset on the 2 level structure out back. They have 2 bikes you can borrow to expore. This place allows you to emerce yourself in the local culture.

The location was very great, it is in the central, very close to the central market and many coffee shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable, with a new air conditioner, and also a small kitchen that you can cook. I stay here feeling like my home. Fi-Wi is very fast that's good for the guest who needs to do some work like me. With a garden, some plants, hammock where you can take a nap on. I will come here often when I come to Battambang.

Set in Battambang, a 6-minute walk from Borey Thmey Mall, Por chey has a terrace, as well as free WiFi. Very nice guesthouse, big and comfortable rooms, nice courtyard area...not far from the city center. They offer meals and there are also plenty of food places nearby; they also arrange tickets for buses and tours, and were very efficient. All the staff were helpful and friendly; Silar in particular made me feel welcome.
