Situé à Talek, dans la région de Narok, le Talek Bush Camp, Masai Mara dispose d'un balcon. Il possède une réception ouverte 24h/24 et une cheminée extérieure. The location was by the river Talek, so I got to see a lot of animals who used to come to the riverside for drinking water. It was quite convenient location to start the safari, and relax later in the night. I met some amazing co-travellers there, and enjoyed Maasai dance with the Maasai Tribe on the weekend. The founder of the camp - "Mostafa" is an amazing host. He is very kind and helpful. He helped me with transportation and the safari. The food was very nice, and all the staff were respectful and helpful. It's the best camp, with great value for money!

Situé à Sekenani, le Maasai homestay camping propose un service de prêt de vélos. Vous aurez accès à une kitchenette entièrement équipée. J'ai adoré partagé ces quelques moments avec Jacob, son épouse Marion et leur fille. Pas le grand luxe mais je me suis sentie si bien dans ma chambre individuelle accolée à leur maison. Jacob connait bien les lieux et partage sa culture qui lui est chère. Je ne voulais pas faire de safari (pas le budget, pas en accord avec mon idées) mais il a trouvé une alternative qui me correspondait beaucoup plus. Nous sommes partis à moto à Nashula Conservacy et il m'a servi de guide. Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans un petit village (loin des villages touristiques) où vit son frère et dans le bush nous avons vu de nombreux animaux. C'était génial ! Les frais d'entrée des Conservacy vont directement aux communautés masai afin d'améliorer leurs conditions de vie (écoles, santé...). De plus, n'ayant pas l'eau courante, Jacob m'a donné l'opportunité de prendre une douche réparatrice dans un "Camp" qu'il connaît.

Situé à Aitong, l'Enkusero Mara propose des hébergements avec un coin salon. Cette tente de luxe met gratuitement à votre disposition un parking privé, un service de navette et une connexion Wi-Fi. Enkusero is a small boutique camp, owned and run by William who is a local Masai, a passionate host and an excellent guide with15 years of experience. He took us for tailor- made safaris and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. The location was fantastic and ideally located to visit the Masai Mara reserve. Our tent was luxurious and beautifully furnished . They had wooden decks with large verandas, for us to enjoy the sight of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles that grazed and freely roamed around the camp. The camp was exclusive and intimate in character with 3-4 luxury tents, perfect for one large or two small families. The food was par excellence . Robert is a fabulous chef who delighted in serving us exquisite dishes, most beautifully presented. We were quite apprehensive of food as we are vegetarians but it seemed no trouble for the skilled chef. The team, service and hospitality was superb. We took packed breakfast on most morning game drives. They were delicious and plentiful. I would like to make a special mention of the bush dinner with camp fire and lanterns which was really spectacular. William also organised sundowner drinks and it was simply humbling watching the sunset in the vast, peaceful setting of the Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the traditional village of the Masai community, which William was happy to organise. To add to all this, the money spent at the camp directly benefits the local Masai community as it provides direct employment and there are no middlemen involved. We stayed 5 nights and each day was above all our expectations. Fantastic place where to stay if you want to be in the middle of wilderness and at the same time feel safe, special and be treated like royalty. Big Thank You to William and his team for making our stay so special and memorable.

Situé à Ololaimutiek, l'Entumoto Main Camp propose un hébergement avec vue sur le jardin, une piscine extérieure et un jardin. We had a fantastic stay at Entumoto! The rooms were spacious and clean, filled with all amenities and the service we received was exceptional. Alex was our guide for our game drives and he was incredible and so knowledgeable! We received great food every day and some highlights were a surprise lunch in the middle of our safari day. Our experience was really tailored to what we wanted. Would highly recommend! Also the views were amazing from the camp.

L'Entumoto Safari Camp est perché dans les collines escarpées et isolées de Megwarra. An amazing place for a luxurious safari holiday. The staff were amazing, great service. From the wet towels when you step off the jeep, to the food (amazing chefs), to the room staff. Every time we even stepped out of the tent, our bins were emptied, bed was made (even when we were going to check out), and room set. Game drives were amazing, guides knew their stuff and worked together to find the big 5. We stayed in Giraffe Cliff which was an amazing place. On the first night we had elephants right outside our tent, breaking branches at 1am! Every night the elephants were around, sleeping around the tents, but staff were always on site to guide us with torches if we ever needed to get around. They've thought of everything. We had an amazing time there, and would highly recommend it.

Le Maji Moto Eco Camp est situé au pied des collines peu connues et incroyablement belles de Loita. Staying in the Camp was one of the best experiences in Kenya. We stayed there only for one night, but we learnt so much about Massai and felt extremely welcome. The staff showed us there world and guided us, so that we felt part of their home during a bush walk. We learnt the meaning of some of their dances and were shown the fire making without lighter. The food was good and original, but don’t expect a 5 course meal. It was simply good! For us as it was a must have while around the Mara.
