We had the best breakfast there The coffee and latte were just awesome 👍 beds comfortable Our room had two big windows so we got to enjoy birds singing. The decoration of the place is so beautiful Every time I came out of my room I spent a few minutes looking at the Japanese decorations and paintings.

I love the fireplace in winter; it keeps the space nice and warm. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. There is enough space to put luggage. The bathroom and toilet are segregated by gender, while the washing station is shared. All the basic amenities are available, and you can use the laundry for a small fee. The whole space is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can see Lake Chuzenji on a clear day. The guesthouse is close to major tourist attractions (by bus), including Kegon Fall, Ryuzu Fall and Yamato Onsen. The owner is super friendly and helpful. I didn't plan the exact spots to go, and he kindly shared some attractions that I could visit for 2 days and suggest some nearby restaurants. He has a lot of knowledge about nature in the Nikko area, and I could converse well with him in English, which was helpful as I can't speak Japanese. He also let me borrow a pair of snow boots as it was snowing the day I arrived, and I didn't have proper footwear for hiking the next day. It was very thoughtful.

Everything from the start to the end of our stay was perfect. Izumi picked us up at the train station and has made great breakfast. The B&B is lovely in a calm environment. The bus stop is only 10 min by walk to go to the mountain or city center. I recommend totally this place and the warm welcome from the host.

Located in Nikko, 2.1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Sanga Nikko provides rooms with free WiFi access. The property is set 10 km from Kegon Falls and 22 km from Nikkō-kokuritsu-kōen. Staying at Sanga Nikko was definitely the highlight of our stay in Japan. The house is beautifully decorated, everything is clean and comfortable. Our host, Yoshi, is probably one of the kindest person we have ever met. He really did his best to make our stay perfect...between the welcoming fruits and cookies, the planning of our day trip to chuzenji, the reservation of the japanese restaurant...and the really enjoyable conversations about japanese culture and customs... We really had a fantastic time at Sanga Nikko ! We will definitely come back and send our friends there to stay !! Thank you for everything Yoshi !! If I could, I would give a 12/10 !!

Featuring a garden, Midorian is located within Nikko National Park. The property is around 1.5 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 8 km from Kegon Falls and a 16-minute walk from Futarasan Shrine. The Midorian had this unquantifiable fairy-tale quality to itself. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, surrounded by a cool river, under the care of a noble man.
