The host was amazing. She drove us to the touristic site and at the station to catch the train on time. She prepared a wonderful breakfast even if not included. Great great experience.

Gableview Forest Inn ligger i Nikko, under 2,8 km fra Tobu Nikko Station og 3,2 km fra Nikko Station. Virkelig godt onsen med god mulighed for at booke plads. Ejeren af hotellet var meget imødekommende og venlig.

Chuzenji Pension har en førsteklasses beliggenhed i Nikko, tæt på Kegon-vandfaldene, Chuzenji-søen og Chuzenji-templet. Der er udsigt over søen og en have. Super friendly and helpful staff, everyone can speak English. Food is top-notch. The view from the room is magnificent.

Okunikko Guesthouse JUN ligger i Nikko, blot 1,1 km fra Kegon Falls, og tilbyder indkvartering med bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. The building is new and cozy. I love the fireplace in winter; it keeps the space nice and warm. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. There is enough space to put luggage. The bathroom and toilet are segregated by gender, while the washing station is shared. All the basic amenities are available, and you can use the laundry for a small fee. The whole space is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can see Lake Chuzenji on a clear day. The guesthouse is close to major tourist attractions (by bus), including Kegon Fall, Ryuzu Fall and Yamato Onsen. The owner is super friendly and helpful. I didn't plan the exact spots to go, and he kindly shared some attractions that I could visit for 2 days and suggest some nearby restaurants. He has a lot of knowledge about nature in the Nikko area, and I could converse well with him in English, which was helpful as I can't speak Japanese. He also let me borrow a pair of snow boots as it was snowing the day I arrived, and I didn't have proper footwear for hiking the next day. It was very thoughtful.

B&B Izumi Nikko ligger i Nikko, blot 2,4 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen, og tilbyder indkvartering med bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Everything from the start to the end of our stay was perfect. Izumi picked us up at the train station and has made great breakfast. The B&B is lovely in a calm environment. The bus stop is only 10 min by walk to go to the mountain or city center. I recommend totally this place and the warm welcome from the host.

Sanga Nikko ligger i Nikko, 2,1 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen, og tilbyder værelser med gratis WiFi. Ejendommen ligger 10 km fra Kegon Falls og 22 km fra Nikkō-kokitusu-koen. Staying at Sanga Nikko was definitely the highlight of our stay in Japan. The house is beautifully decorated, everything is clean and comfortable. Our host, Yoshi, is probably one of the kindest person we have ever met. He really did his best to make our stay perfect...between the welcoming fruits and cookies, the planning of our day trip to chuzenji, the reservation of the japanese restaurant...and the really enjoyable conversations about japanese culture and customs... We really had a fantastic time at Sanga Nikko ! We will definitely come back and send our friends there to stay !! Thank you for everything Yoshi !! If I could, I would give a 12/10 !!

Midorian ligger i nationalparken Nikko og har en have. Ejendommen ligger ca. 1,5 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen, 8 km fra Kegon Falls og 16 minutters gang fra Futarasan-helligdommen. The Midorian had this unquantifiable fairy-tale quality to itself. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, surrounded by a cool river, under the care of a noble man.
