It is a great place to stay for a couple of nights when exploring the island -- for us the stay was way too short as it was just to stay over and get to the earliest ferry the next day, which is conveniently just 8 min drive away.

This is a simple idiosyncratic guest house connected to a typical bar/restaurant. Yoko, the host/owner is the heart and soul of it. She is friendly, funny and kind, and even drove me to a remote temple when the weather was cold. I had breakfast every day and supper in the bar one night with Yoko and a couple of friendly locals. Very special place.

Sakate Port is just a 4-minute's walk away.... The accommodation was comfortable and the offered breakfast delicious. The guests change often, giving an opportunity to meet with many interesting people. Just around the corner there is a nice beach that is quite secluded from the main town, often being empty.
